Comedy In The Hall Presents four of Boston's funniest Comedians! You may have heard them on TV, Radio, and Clubs. A full night of laughs here at the Hall!
Chris Tabb is often described as a comic who appears in control and out of control at the same time when he is on stage. However, he is mostly described as on the verge, next or just very, very, funny. One club owner says, "Chris Tabb is getting so good so fast that I just try to get him in my club often enough to take credit when he becomes a big star." Chris is the host of his own Boston Comcast cable talk show The Chris Tabb Show; he is a favorite to be a part of events in his Boston community. Whether hes in front of three thousand in a packed theater, TV studio or in a high school auditorium he gives 150% of his hilarious energy, appropriately adjusting his material to fit the room.
Dan Boulger started doing standup in late 2004 when I was a freshman in College. For the past few years Dan has done shows all around Boston. Then in 2006 Dan won Boston Comedy Festival. After that Dan has appeared on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, The BBC, and the HBO Aspen Comedy Festival.
Comedian Sarah Blodgett is one funny honey. Sarahs unique form of self-involved humor is a tell-it-like-it-is story of her own life experiences, as she manages to carefully hide her intelligent observations behind her bubbly, blonde personality. A finalist in Catch a New Rising Stars Season 8 comedy contest, Sarah also competed in the 2008 Boston Comedy Festival, was The Comedy Studios Comic-In-Residence in October 2009, Sarah is also a regular contributor to The Comedians magazine and is a regular at the comedy clubs in Boston.
Alvin David - Stand-up comics are put into categories. It's often word like "observational" or "autobiographical" are used to sum up a performer. And phrases like "high-energy" or "laid-back" try to describe a comic's act. Unfortunately, there isn't yet a term that captures the comedy Alvin David. His fans and peers all agree that Big Al defies classification; and the truest thing anyone can say about Alvin David show is: it's an experience.
