Cirque Le Masque will be performing three (3) shows New Years Weekend. Friday and Saturday night shows are for all audiences. There will be a special "Family Show" on Saturday January 3rd at 2pm. The Family Show requires all adults be be accompanied by a child!

Fire and Ice is a truly phantasmagorical, avant-garde, circus dance theater production, drenched in colorful light. Theres also a plot to follow: Xenos, a strong and easily upset wizard who governs the elements of fire and ice, comes to Earth in order to express his wrath at the mere mortals who dare wake him. Of course this plot is accompanied by some spectacular shows kicking off with Mario the mime artist, followed by Xenos and his umbrella troupe, four acrobats balancing on the edges of a cube, and the hula hoop lady performing to techno music. Then comes more dance, juggling, balancing acts, some of them incorporating the ingenious use of long stretches of fabric (kids, dont try this at home with mums curtains!) The show ends with some human sculptures- a hark back to the ancient Greek sculptures of gods and heroes. Maybe theres an environmental message to be extracted in there somewhere along the lines of dont mess with natural forces
